Overview
What to expect when you work with me freelance
I spend my days as a graphic designer for Cull Group in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. If you’re in need of a stellar design firm I would suggest hitting up our company website, or, if you choose to work with me as Fictionalhead, I’m just a freelance outfit. What does that mean for you? Well, a couple things right off the bat:
- No Overhead: This means I’m not padding your bill to pay for the building I use as my office, because I have no office. I work on the project as needed. Which means…
- I Don’t Hold Set Hours: If your project requires more than 8 hours straight, or attention after hours; That’s no problem. I’m no stranger to all-nighters. I reply to your questions in a timely manner and, generally speaking, there are…
- No Lengthy Meetings That Essentially Accomplish Nothing: This means I don’t sit around talking about what “might look good,” I just sit down and do it. Another benefit of this approach is that…
- I Won’t Waste Your Time: Because I understand that time is money. Giving “project briefings” to get other people up to speed on things just double-bills the project for two or more people’s time which definitely doesn’t lend itself to…
- Quick Turn Around Times: You need your project done and you need it done now. I understand and I work fast. By cutting out outside interference, our time is used more effectively working on your project alone until the project is done and you are satisfied with the result.
The Bottom Line
You’re dealing with a competent professional who works in the design industry. I am offering my services here as freelancer to help out people who may not have the time or budget to deal with an agency, yet still require an agency-level final product. Plus there’s added benefit for me: I love doing this.
